This game uses Firebase for free multiplayer. You need a free Google account and ~5 minutes. No credit card required.

🔥 FIREBASE SETUP (step by step)

Go to console.firebase.google.com and sign in with Google.
Click "Add project" → name it anything (e.g. brainrot) → disable Analytics → Create project.
In the left sidebar, click Build → Realtime Database → Create Database. Pick any location. Choose "Start in test mode" → Enable.
⚙ Click the gear icon (top left) → Project settings. Scroll to "Your apps" → click the </> (Web) icon. Nickname it, click Register app.
You'll see a firebaseConfig code block. Copy the ENTIRE block (from { to }) and paste it below ↓

🔒 Your config saves locally to your browser (localStorage). Firebase configs are safe to share — security comes from database rules, not the config itself.

📖 HOW TO PLAY

1. EARN COINS: Each brainrot on your plot passively generates coins every second. Better brainrots = more coins.

2. BUY BRAINROTS: The shop rotates every 30 seconds with a fresh selection. Grab em before someone else does — limited stock!

3. STEAL: During RAID time (every 2 minutes), you can steal brainrots from other players' plots. Click a player's brainrot icon to attempt a steal.

4. STEAL SUCCESS: Higher rarities are HARDER to steal. Common = 90% success. Secret = 15% success. Failing = you pay a 500 coin fine!

5. LOCK YOUR VAULT: Spend gems to lock brainrots so they can't be stolen. One lock = 1 gem (you earn gems from leveling up).

6. UPGRADES: Buy permanent upgrades like bigger plot, income boost, lucky rolls, and raid shield!

7. RARITIES:

Win condition: Whoever has the highest net worth (coins + brainrot value) on the leaderboard is winning. Keep grinding to stay on top.
